Inspectioneering Journal Article Submission/Publication Guidelines

Inspectioneering Journal welcomes submission of articles by experienced and novice authors.

Article Submission

All articles should be submitted electronically to Greg Alvarado, Chief Editor, at publish@inspectioneering.com, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Each submission should include: name(s) of author(s), name of company or companies if joint project, contact mailing address, phone number, fax number, email address, short author bio, and a picture of the author(s).

Content

The primary mission of Inspectioneering Journal is to deliver non-biased information to the oil & gas, chemical and petrochemical industries.  Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that the articles published are not commercial or "salesy" in nature.

Editing

Unless otherwise agreed upon by Inspectioneering Journal and author(s), articles must be 400 to 4,000 words in length.

Illustrations

All figures (graphs, charts, drawings, photos, etc.), tables, and diagrams should be referenced and numbered within the text of the submitted writing.  Authors must include all figures, tables, and diagrams in separate attachments, even if embedded in text of submitted article.

All figures, tables, and diagrams should be titled.  Titles should give adequate description of the intended purpose of the figure, table, or diagram.

All images should be high resolution with a minimum of 300 d.p.i., if possible and submitted in commonly used form, e.g. PDF, JPEG.

License and Release

If the article has been published in the past, including but not limited to inclusion in other publications, intra-company documents, company newsletters and company websites, the author must acquire permission and a release from the prior publishing party.  The release must accompany the article upon submission to Inspectioneering Journal.

Upon submission, author(s) grant Inspectioneering Journal the unconditional right to publish and distribute article.
