Dr. Yury Sokolov (EA CPEng, RPEQ) is developing Asset Integrity methodologies and applications at SVT Engineering’s Brisbane office. He graduated as a mechanical engineer in Moscow Russia (1999) and shortly thereafter received his Ph.D. (2003). Since graduation, Yury has gained years of engineering experience in material strength, fatigue assessments, and vibration troubleshooting across several industries and countries. He now focuses on developing risk-based pressure equipment integrity management methodologies.
