Ian serves as the Technology Manager for MISTRAS’ Automated Radiography Testing (ART) development team. He has served in various roles including Field Inspector, Nuclear Lead Auditor, Quality Manager, and Technology Manager. Ian also holds a certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from the American Welding Society (AWS), and is certified Level III in five methods from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT). He has spent the past ten years leading technical teams that develop and deploy autonomous robotic platforms and x-ray imaging systems for the inspection of above-ground piping assets.
